There’s lots of fish around

July 26-August 2 Report

Hotel Buenavista Beach Resort

As the hotel/resort prepares for the Bisbee Offshore Tournament, things could hardly be better:  Water temps in the mid-80s, air into the mid-90s and very little, if any, wind.

Perhaps best of all, big blue marlin have been seen at most of our traditional fishing points!

Schools of yellowfin tuna have been spotted all the way down south near Cabo Pulmo Park to the Destiladeras.

Meanwhile, a veritable aquarium of manta, roosterfish, small dorado, a variety of shark; as well as blue, black and striped marlin have been spotted from Cerralvo Island south to El Farito, Los Meganos Blancos, Los Frailes and Cabo Pulmo.

Wrap up

Fernando Ibarra and friends from Los Mochis, Sinaloa, fishing aboard Calereste, had a great time landing tuna, dorado and a marlin. They got some great bottom shots
