Week of Family Fun!!

June 30- July 6, 2016

Hotel Buena Vista Beach Resort

Pier

Summer weather did what summer weather does, reaching the low-90s.  But sizzling days gave way to pleasant summer nights, about 75 degrees by Margarita time.

Gollhardt family fishing with Captain Ramon aboard the 3 Hermanos had a productive outing capped off by releasing, several sailfish, blue marlin and one nice roosterfish.

Here an anecdote of what happened on a day of fishing:

Two rods, one fighting belt, one 340-pound blue marlin and one hour of awesome fun aboard the 3 Hermanos.   Last picture is one of the happy and tired crew. The fish was teased up on Manuel’s special big pink teaser and soon was hooked on two rods (thank goodness).   Each of my family took at least two turns while this incredible fish stretched the limits of the team’s endurance.

Theodore Wierzbanowski from Florida and his wife Sandie aboard the Vagabundo enjoyed celebrating their anniversary beneath sparkling Baja skies with just enough breeze in the afternoon to cool things down on the ride back to our portable pier.

It’s their 48th anniversary and their 17th year visiting the resort.

POCKET FISHING ROD

PROVES IT WORKS HARD

When Christine and Mike Coody, boarded the 3 Hermanos at Hotel Buena Vista Beach Resort, the captain and mate couldn’t help but laugh. They saw the fishing rod that Mike had brought aboard. You won’t believe it either.

Remember those folding, pocket gadgets they sold on late night TV that allowed an angler to fish “anywhere, any time?”  Well, that’s what Mike carried with him.

Want to know something funnier?  It worked!

Overall catches reflected a sportfishing bouillabaisse of yellowfin tuna, dorado, wahoo, striped marlin, sailfish and four blue marlin.  All the blues were released with one estimated to weigh over 400-pounds.
